Tax Plan

Tax should shape your decisions, not drive them
Many people buy a policy or a product in March only for the deduction, and live with it for years. We look at tax as one part of your plan, so that it serves your goals rather than the other way round.
Your tax plan is part of SahajMoney's fee-only financial plan, for a fixed ₹15,000 for the first year, including GST.
Who this is for
Anyone who buys tax-saving products every March without a plan.
People about to retire who want to draw income tax-efficiently.
What your tax plan covers
Retirement withdrawals: which accounts to draw from, and in what order, to keep tax down in retirement.
What we don't do
We don't file returns. Complex cases, such as business income, foreign assets or a tax notice, need a chartered accountant, and we'll tell you when you need one.
What it costs and what is included
First year: ₹15,000 per couple, including GST. Your written plan within 2 weeks of approving the initial analysis, and email questions throughout the 12 months.
Renewal: ₹7,500 a year, including GST, with your plan updated at each review. Renewal is optional.
Should I buy insurance or a product just to save tax?
Usually not. A tax saving doesn't make a product right for you; it has to fit a goal first.
Do you file my income tax return?
No. We advise on tax as part of your plan; filing needs a chartered accountant or a filing service.
Should I buy capital-gains bonds after selling a property?
Not on the tax saving alone. That money is invested for years, so it should fit your goals and portfolio first.
