Portfolio Review

A plan only works if someone checks it
Markets move, your income and goals change, and a portfolio drifts away from the mix you chose. Our portfolio review brings it back in line, twice a year, with a written action plan you can follow on your own platform.
It is included in your first-year plan at 6 months, and in renewal for ₹7,500 a year, including GST.
Who this is for
Existing SahajMoney clients after their first-year plan.
Investors whose equity share has grown well past their target after a rally, or fallen below it after a fall.
Anyone whose life has changed since their plan: a new job, a child, a home loan, a move abroad or back to India.
What we review
Progress towards each goal: where each goal stands against the amount needed, and whether the monthly SIP still covers it.
Asset mix: your current equity–debt split against the target set by your risk profile, which we refresh at each review.
Each investment: which funds to keep, add to or exit, and why. We look at costs and consistency over several years, not last year's returns.
Rebalancing: if the portfolio has drifted, how to bring it back to your target mix.
Insurance and safety nets: whether your life, health and accident cover and emergency fund still fit your situation.
What you receive
A written Action Plan for the next period: emergency and short-term funds, SIP and lump-sum amounts by fund, and the life, health and accident cover to hold.
We walk you through it in a video meeting, and you can email questions afterwards.
How it works
1. You update your financial data sheet and retake the short risk questionnaire.
2. We prepare the review and the updated Action Plan, usually within 1 to 2 weeks.
3. We go through it with you in a video meeting.
4. You make the changes through the platform you already use. We never handle your money or place transactions.
Why twice a year
Over the long run, your asset mix decides most of your outcome, and an untended portfolio drifts. Twice a year is often enough to correct that, and rare enough to avoid reacting to every market headline. Checking more often tends to tempt people into timing the market.
What it costs
First review: included in your first-year plan (₹15,000, including GST), at 6 months.
Ongoing reviews: renewal at ₹7,500 a year, including GST, with 2 reviews a year. Renewal is optional and is for one couple, including dependent children and parents.
Can I get a portfolio review without a full plan?
Not at present. The review measures your portfolio against the goals and risk profile set in your plan, so it starts with the first-year plan.
Will you tell me which funds to sell?
Yes. The Action Plan names the funds to keep, add to or exit, with amounts.
How often should I rebalance?
For most people, at the twice-yearly review. More often adds costs and the temptation to time the market.
